Properties Mission
JBA Properties provides development
and management services for properties owned by the Anstine family and
by investment affiliates comprised of high-net worth individuals,
private companies and other organizations with real estate interests but
requiring specialized assistance. JBA Properties also offers affiliated
professionals with construction management of residential subdivisions &
commercial properties along with facilities management of commercial
properties.

The
History of JBA Properties
JBA Properties was created in 1994
as a successor to Stevens/Anstine Properties. Ron Stevens and Barry
Anstine began a partnership in the early 1980's buying and developing
multifamily and retail properties.
JBA Properties was created when
Barry's son, Jon, joined him in 1994. In 2002, Barry's other son,
Byron, teamed with Barry and Jon to help search for new development
opportunities.

The
Future of JBA Properties

The New Urbanism
JBA Properties is constantly searching for
properties in an urban setting or infill properties, which means
there is an existing community around the property. JBA Properties
wants to create a pedestrian-friendly community with a public realm
that adds to the experience. To accomplish this, JBA Properties
will look to work with local governments that are looking to enhance
and re-develop their downtown areas. An example of this idea is to
take an existing property past its prime and make it something where
the community wants to shop, work and live.

Residential Subdivisions
JBA Properties has always been on the
lookout for small residential subdivisions where they can obtain
approvals, improve the site and sell the improved building lots to
homebuilders. The ideal property would yield anywhere from 2 to 25
lots based on the local government’s zoning laws.

Office & Retail Condominiums
More companies today, if given the choice, would prefer to own their
office or retail space. JBA Properties has set out to develop space
that can accommodate both office and retail users that can be owned
verses rented. JBA Properties will acquire the land, obtain the
approvals, improve the ground, manage the construction process and
sell the final product to the end user. JBA Properties will also
manage the condominium association and the grounds after the project
has sold out.

Existing Retail Shopping
Centers
Since the market for developing retail
space is limited, JBA Properties is looking for retail properties
that have already been developed and have been established in the
area. JBA Properties will consider properties anywhere from 5,000
to 100,000 sq. ft. |
